The picture of Camp Alpha, post 1969, brings back old memories. I was there during the transition in 1969.

Excellent site. Got sent here from Malambri's email. Brought back a bunch of memories and the small details are perfect.
Was with A Co, 228th ASHB with the 1st Air Cav Div.
1967-1968.
Once again, well done.

I was surfing Matticola and see him on your site. Rich is a true cult of one. He and I flew together in a former life and I have been trying to track him down. Last time I saw him was riding his Harley with me at Bike Week in Daytona several moons ago. He in fact did fly for USAIR via America West.Enjoyed your site. I was with 219th Headhunters in Pleiku and flew the end of my tour with the 52nd Dragons.

Fred,
Best of luck with the retirement. Was good working with you at Eagle. I still feel bad about screwing up your commute to work that bad day long, long ago.
