I really enjoyed your website.
I own one of the 6's that was in d/2/1.
67-16349. I have restored it and fly it regularly. It is the nicest flying aircraft I have owned.

Just surfin thru. I was in Loach Platoon as a Crewchief/Gunner. Didn't know you personally but I do remember you flying hueys and I think gunships while I was in country. Anyway, glad to see you made it home.

Was with D troop from Dec 68 to Dec 69 Crew chief on Cobra 67-15724 Thanks for the great pictures . They sure brought back a lot of memories.

I was with A Troop 2/1 Cav in 69-70. Plieku firebase was my home for six months until we moved south to Phan Rang - Phan Thiet area. Thanks for the memories

I too was in An Khe for a short time in 1968. I also was in Hue for a short time then to Camp Evens and then to Khe Sanh.
I remember the tiger being killed. I also remember the helicopter falling from the sky. I was standing on a nearby hill watching the horrible scene.
I would love to see more pictures of Nahm.
Does anyone remember the ammo blast in Camp Evans?
