Fast Eddie

Hello Everyone,

This is "Fast Eddie" or what I call myself now is "Not So Fast Eddie".  I was with the Aero Scouts for six months from March through August 1969 prior to getting shot down with five gunshot wounds to myself.  I served as Platoon Leader of the Aero Scouts  until that day and was soon transfered to Japan before being sent to Ft Benning for treatment.  I am just wondering if anyone remembers me, especially someone from the Aero Scouts?
Remember, Ain't no danger, never was.

Eddie,

Of course I remember you.  You were my only "sling load" on my first tour.  Are you going to the VHPA reunion in San Deigo in July.  2/1 Cav is having theirs in D.C.

Hey "fast Eddie,
This is Blackhawk 14 Alex Matau. I was flying John Vasser front seat when you got shot down. I was the guy who put 300 rounds of 40MM all around you and mike cook. Guessing I smoked a few gooks for you. A few months later I joined the scout platoon.
Will you be at the VHPA reunion this year. Thinking you live REAL close to the event.

Hi D troopers
Alex Matau BlackHawk 14.
Hey 69 how you doing? My old FM radio is tits up can you fix it :>) Several of us went to the VHPA reunion last July and had a good time. Kevin Clarke BlackHawk 12 invited  Lloyd White. Lloyd was one of our scout gunners, he got shot during the battle of Song Mao. Received a few emails from a few of you and was glad to hear from you. I'm alive in central Texas. Retired and just chillin. I did build a bar out back, put all my vietnam stuff in it. It actually turned out real good, even looks nice. So any of you guys get out this way the beer is always cold. Yep Jimmy Cregan it is grey but like you said there is alot of it. The thing about a mans hair is , you don't care what color it turns as long as it doesn't turn lose..........................I'm out of here, watch your 6
