Today I had the privilege of knowing that a dear friend is at peace. He was a scout for D troop 2rd of the 1st cavalry in Nam from 1966 to 1970. He was a very kind-heart ed man to everyone, BUT himself. He could not forgive himself for what he had done over there. He is 59 and experienced more in his life time then most of us ever could dream of living. I believe he let himself go, so he would have peace. He was a true friend and one who I will always remember.
